This Hackamore rope halter is made with 7mm high quality soft rope. These
halters have low stretch, are mildew & rot-proof, and have high UV resistance.
 
Enough space has been created to tie your 22 ft mecate reins and still have a
perfect fitted snug fit halter. Like all our rope halters they are designed as a snug fit. The nose piece is sitting between the nasal bone and the cheekbone and the throat latch is sitting neatly in the throat and behind the jowl. This prevents unwanted pressure on the jowl creating correct alignment of the head when doing groundwork.
 
The ends are professionally spliced, burned and stitched.

These halters are designed with the fiador knot (under the chin) to be the strongest point and therefore you must only use both loops under the fiador knot to attach a lead rope and/or reins. Make sure when attaching reins or lead rope you clip each rein or lead rope on both loops.
These halters are not designed to be used as a side pull bridle
